Posting Guidelines
MEPS (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") values the privacy of its customers and complies with the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection."
The Company informs its customers of how their personal information is used and what measures are being taken to protect their information through its Privacy Policy.
Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be announced through the website’s notifications (or individual notices).
This policy is effective as of November 1, 2009.
Personal Information
The Company collects the following personal information for membership registration, consultations, and service applications:

· Collected Items: Name, Date of Birth, Login ID, Password, Home Phone Number, Home Address, Mobile Phone Number, Email, Occupation, Company Name, Department, Position, Company Phone Number, Resident Registration Number

Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information
The Company utilizes the collected personal information for the following purposes:

· Service Provision: Fulfillment of contracts for service provision, billing, and content delivery

Identity verification, personal identification, prevention of unauthorized use, confirmation of intent to register, and notification delivery -
· Marketing and Advertising
Development of new services/products, customization, and delivery of promotional information -

Processing visit/demo requests and idea proposals
Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information
The Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved.
Destruction Procedures and Methods
As a general principle, the company promptly destroys personal information once the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled. The procedures and methods for destruction are as follows.

· Destruction Procedure:
Information entered during registration is transferred to a separate database (or stored in a separate file in case of physical documents) and retained for a certain period as per internal policies and related laws before being destroyed. -
· Destruction Methods:
Electronically stored data is deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery.
Provision of Personal Information
The Company provides personal information to third parties as follows for service improvement and related purposes:

· Recipient 1: Korea Information & Communication Industry Association
Information Provided: Name, Resident Registration Number Purpose: Identity verification and unpaid dues inquiry -
· Recipient 2: KICC
Information Provided: Name, Resident Registration Number, Account Number, Card Details Purpose: Cardholder identity verification and fee payment -
· Recipient 3: Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute
Information Provided: Name, Resident Registration Number, Withdrawal Amount, Delinquent Period Purpose: Automatic account withdrawal -
· Recipient 4: MEPS Member Companies
Information Provided: Company Name, Authentication Key, Specialty, Contact Details, Address, Email -
· Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information
Period of Information Use: The provided information will be used from the service registration date until the earlier of either the service termination date or the end of the service agreement. Period of Information Retention: After the end of the usage period, the information will be promptly destroyed.
(However, if the user has given prior consent or if applicable laws require preservation, the information will be retained in accordance with the relevant laws.)Exceptions:
When users have given explicit prior consent. When required by law or upon a legitimate request from investigative authorities following legally established procedures and methods.
Outsourcing of Personal Information
The Company does not outsource personal information without customer consent. If required in the future,
customers will be notified and their consent obtained.
Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercise
Users and legal representatives can access or modify their own or a child under the age of 14's personal information at any time.
They may also request to cancel their membership.
To access or modify personal information, use the "Edit Personal Information" (or "Edit Member Information") option.
To cancel membership (withdraw consent), click "Delete Account" and complete the identity verification process. You can then directly view, correct, or delete the information.
Alternatively, users may contact the personal information manager by written notice, phone, or email to request assistance.
The company will promptly take the necessary actions.If users request corrections to inaccurate personal information,
the use or provision of such information will be suspended until the corrections are completed.
If inaccurate personal information has already been provided to third parties, the company will promptly notify the third parties of the corrections so they can be applied.
Personal information that is terminated or deleted upon request by the user or legal representative will be processed in accordance with the "Retention and Use Period for Collected Personal Information" policy.
Such information will not be accessed or used for any other purpose.
Use of Cookies and Similar Devices
The Company does not operate devices for the automatic collection of personal information, such as cookies.
